A Mill Bay/Malahat Historical Society's Tea & Tales presentation of "Northern Star" a documentary of J.S. Plaskett the astronomer who founded the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory just north of Victoria in 1918. The telescope was briefly the largest operating telescope in the world. His work helped establish Canada as a leader in astronomy and scientific research. Presented by renowned local film maker, Nick Versteeg.
